Information for consultants from abroad

Medical care in Germany grants patients many rights

The healthcare system in Germany is characterized by a high level of patient autonomy. Patients are often able to choose their doctors and hospitals themselves. For us as a clinical company, this means that we want to impress patients with our excellent quality of medical care, but also with our level service and friendliness. Schoen Clinic Group has been focusing on its specialisation in neurology, orthopaedics, and psychosomatics for many years. It is in these areas in particular, alongside other subjects (e.g. internal medicine), that we train doctors to become specialists.

What we offer

  • Detailed induction and training curricula

  • Interdisciplinary working

  • Intensive supervision by senior and head physicians

  • Complete training as a specialist possible, also across hospitals where applicable

  • Good development and promotion opportunities

  • Latest equipment standards (surgery of the future, IT, patient rooms)

  • Comprehensive social contributions (e.g. family service)

Licences to practise medicine and work permits for consultants

You can only request work permits and licences to practise medicine as a consultant following a successfully completed foreign language examination.  This is a prerequisite for working as a consultant in one of our hospitals.  The applications for this can also be submitted from abroad. Our contact persons will be happy to help you with this.
