Registration for inpatient admission

Registration and Admission

In our clinic, various types of admission are possible. The most suitable process is determined by your current situation and the selected specialist clinic.

Registration for inpatient admission

1. Admission to the acute care hospital

We accept patients from all health insurance companies or private health insurance companies, as well as financial assistance authorities, for inpatient treatment.

Appointments are scheduled by the relevant specialist department. On the day of inpatient admission, please register at patient admissions. This is located close to reception. There, all necessary data is recorded and the treatment contract is signed.

Please bring the following documents with you to patient admissions:

  • Your health insurance card
  • the medical referral documents

other documents:

  • X-rays and medical records

if you have these in your possession:

  • Immunisations book,
  • Allergy card,
  • Marcumar card or
  • Cardiac pacemaker card

2. Admission to a follow-up treatment (AHB)

If you are currently in an acute care hospital, then you should arrange to have a subsequent period of rehabilitation if possible. Normally, you will be supported in this by ...

  • the doctors providing treatment at the clinic you are currently attending
  • the social service at the clinic you are currently attending
  • For admission to our clinic following a stay in hospital, you need to make an application for treatment following a stay in hospital - follow-up treatment (AHB application).
  • The application for this convalescence [AHB application] signed by you is forwarded to your health insurance company or your pension fund and, at the same time, to our hospital, by the social service of the hospital.
  • The organisation assuming the cost of treatment generally informs us of the present cost agreements, further to which we will inform you of an admission date in writing.

Depending on the state of your health, you can also spend a few days at home between hospital discharge and the start of rehabilitation.

3. Rehabilitation without prior stay in a clinic

Do you have health problems that result in limitations in your performance in your professional or everyday life?

Talk to your doctor about a possible treatment in our hospital: He is the right person to talk to about both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.
From your GP or specialist, we need
• a recommendation for rehabilitation,
• a doctor’s certificate
• a prescription for rehabilitation

You can also obtain application forms directly from your health insurance company or pension fund or via their website.
