There are various admission options at our clinic that depend on your current situation and the selected specialist clinic.
Admission for Inpatient Hospital Treatment
Prerequisites for admission to our acute hospital
In principle, we admit patient from all public and private insurance companies and aid authorities.
Prerequisites for this include
- hospital admission order from your treating consultant
- or admission order from the treating clinic
- or a written cost assumption declaration from your insurance company, pension insurance or aid authority.
This, of course, excludes acute emergency treatments.
Prerequisites for admission to follow-up treatment
If you are currently in an acute care hospital, then you should arrange to have a subsequent period of rehabilitation if possible.
Normally, you will be supported in this by ...
- your treating consultant at the clinic your are currently at
- the social service at the clinic you are currently attending
To be admitted to our Clinic for Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, an application for follow-up treatment must be submitted. This contract, signed by you, is forwarded from your treating clinic to your insurance company or pension insurance company and our rehab clinic. The cost carrier generally informs us of the approval after which we will notify you of your appointment in writing. Depending on the state of your health, you can also spend a few days at home between clinic discharge and the start of rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation without prior stay in a clinic
Do you have physical problems and your performance capability at work or in everyday life is limited? Then inpatient or outpatient treatment may be right for you.
Talk to your doctor about a possible treatment in our hospital: Your doctor will then submit a request to the relevant cost carrier. You can also obtain the required forms directly from your insurance company or pension insurance company or their websites. The cost carrier generally informs us of the approval after which we will notify you of your appointment in writing.
For patients with statutory health insurance who are at least 18 years old and are not exempt from additional payments, legislature specifies that an additional payment of €10 has to be paid for every inpatient treatment day for a maximum of 28 calendar days per year. Please pay the co-pay after receiving the invoice after your inpatient stay. We will then pass on the payment to your health insurance company.
