Top in Hamburg for key hole surgery

What else makes us stand out? We carry out an above average proportion of minimally invasive procedures, so-called key hole surgery, of excellent quality. This enables us to take care of complex surgical procedures. We are the only hospital in Hamburg to be certified as a competence centre for minimally invasive surgery by the German Association for General and Abdominal Surgery (DGAV) as well as by the Surgical Consortium for Minimally Invasive Surgery. You can therefore be sure that your abdomen is in good hands with us.

Proven expertise for hernia problems

Whether inguinal hernias, groin hernias, incisional hernias, umbilical hernias, pelvic floor hernias or internal hernias - as a centre certified by the German Hernia Association, we specialise in the surgical treatment of various hernias. Whenever possible, we use minimally invasive surgery. We also employ stabilising plastic nets to establish quick and lasting resilience of the area being operated on and a faster recovery for you.
