Stay healthy - Your Day Clinic Bad Arolsen.
In our day clinic, we treat your mental illness according to a therapy concept tailored to your needs. Our goal is a tailor-made treatment, with which we fill a gap between out-patient therapy offers and a full inpatient hospital stay.
A particular advantage of our day clinic is the integrated treatment approach, which means that partial and full inpatients are treated together. With this approach, a wide range of therapies is available to you as a day clinic patient and a disorder-specific therapy can be realized.
The distinguishing features of a day clinical treatment is the close interaction of an intensive full-day therapy offer with your current life situation and everyday life, whereby family and social aspects can be increasingly included in the treatment. Things learned can be tested directly in everyday life and then discussed with your therapist in the clinic.
With the partial inpatient treatment in our day clinic, we offer you many advantages that otherwise only comes with full inpatient treatment, combined with the advantages of outpatient therapy. You benefit over and over:
The admission takes place right in the day clinic. The treatment is not preceded by a full inpatient stay. The offer is particularly suitable for patients, in which a removal from everyday life, due to personal circumstances, is not possible, such as patients
The content of the therapies are almost identical to those of the full inpatient treatment and step-down treatment.
Following the inpatient stay at the Schoen Clinic Bad Arolsen, you can receive further treatment in our day clinic. The main difference to the full inpatient treatment is that you sleep at home. Otherwise, the same treatment team will be in charge of you as before and you will stay in the usual group of fellow patients. The current therapy program will be continued and supplemented with additional modules, which were developed especially for the partial inpatient part and to deal with the special challenges of returning home and the transfer into everyday life.
In the day clinic, the therapy is carried out five days a week from morning to late afternoon and you spend the evenings and nights as well as the weekend at home. Therapies take place from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
As group therapies are the focus treatment, different group therapies take place during the day. Small periods of rest between therapies give you enough time to process what you have learned and to prepare for the new therapy.
Lunch is eaten together from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
The therapy day ends at 5:00 pm, but our doctors and therapists will be happy to hear from you after that.
In our day clinic, we take on patients over the age of 18 years.
For adolescents between the ages of 14 and 18, we have inpatient therapies on youth-oriented specialty wards.
