Humeral head fracture – our aftercare

Every aftercare for a humerus fracture is individually designed at Schoen Clinic Berchtesgadener Land. Our team of consultants thus adapts its treatment concept for humeral head fractures, which they have developed together with colleagues from the acute clinic, especially for you. Depending on the type of fracture and treatment of your humerus fracture, the arm should first be immobilised depending on requirements. Then your physiotherapy begins, during which you mobilise your shoulder.

Particularly gentle and helpful are our special therapies in the exercise pool, which improve flexibility and coordination, promote the reduction of swellings and at the same time contribute to muscular stabilisation and thus increase resilience. In addition, we increase your endurance by means of medical training therapy. The aim of the treatment is to restore the mobility of your shoulder. This can often take a long time in the case of shoulder injuries. Our dedicated rehabilitation team has extensive experience with humeral head fractures and will provide you with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care on your road to recovery.
