Hallux valgus – our treatment

Hallux valgus – the malposition of the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe – causes pain and may impair walking. If you have a mild form of hallux valgus, the malposition can be corrected by conservative treatment, such as special shoes, splints or bandages, but also with specific exercises for the toes. The more pronounced your hallux valgus is, the more likely it is that surgery will be necessary. In the Rosenheim region, our highly qualified foot specialists will be happy to help you find the right, necessary treatment for your hallux valgus and discuss it with you. Even if the medical aspect is the focus of attention in the case of an operation, we always strive to find the cosmetically optimal solution for you. We achieve this through minimally invasive surgical methods, in which our surgeons are particularly specialised.
